| Chamber voted a limited company on 12th December Members voted for CCCI to become a company limited by guarantee at the members’ meeting on 12th December 2011. This will allow us to continue to provide the benefits our members are used to and apply for funding to provide further business support initiatives. The changing business environment, including the demise of Business Link, has put the onus on the local provision of business support services and Chichester Chamber is keen to be at the forefront of this movement. We already know that we provide more than many Chambers of Commerce and we aim to continue to do so! Chichester Chamber prides itself on being relaxed, informal and friendly, balanced with being informative and connected as far as local business issues go. Although the legal structure of the Chamber has changed, our culture won’t! Thank you for your ongoing support. |
| Sunday parking is still not free... |
| Sunday parking is still not free... Unfortunately, in spite of a huge wave of support for the e-petition against the introduction of Sunday parking charges in Chichester - and notifications to all signatories that the e-petition had been successful- we now find out that the decision has been overturned by CDC and Sunday charges will be introduced in April. As far as the Chamber is concerned, this is a big mistake for the City. Thank you for your support on this issue. |
